The Civil Society and Governance Project (hereafter “CSG-TL”) is themost recent iteration of a long-running support program for severalCSOs advocating for good governance in Timor-Leste. The NorwegianEmbassy in Jakarta generously funds the project, which is carried outby Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial, abbreviated as “HUMANISFoundation” Since 2017, the project has provided core funding to fourpartner CSOs in Dili, Timor-Leste, as well as a variety of trainingprograms and occasional assistance to other partner organizations.FOKUPERS, La’o Hamutuk, ACbit and JSMP are four critical projectpartners for HUMANIS Foundation. They are well-established NGOs withsolid reputations in Timor-Leste for their work on justice, human rights,gender, and economic empowerment.
