Consultant for Videographer and Graphic Editor
Hivos Southeast Asia seeks qualified Indonesian candidates for the position of Consultant for Videographer and Graphic Editor.
Background
Hivos Southeast Asia and partners have been working to promote and push the implementation of open contracting in Indonesia. We conduct several baseline researches to document the current levels of openness, transparency, and accountability in public contracting and service delivery in the country, including the opportunities and challenges. Additionally, we also empower local civil society organizations and vulnerable groups, including women and people with disabilities groups, to advocate for their right to safe and clean water.
Women, especially those who live below the poverty line, and people with disabilities groups in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Administrative Province are having difficulties in accessing potable water. Unfortunately, the two vulnerable groups do not have sufficient knowledge and ability to advocate for their right to safe and clean water. Hence, IDEA Yogyakarta created a video about advocacy, what it is and how to do it, to help women and people with disabilities groups in Bantul.
Hivos Southeast Asia understands that it is necessary to present the video in a format to help the public, particularly women and people with disabilities groups, to understand the content and the message of the video by adding graphic and animation. Therefore a videographer and graphic editor consultant is needed to create such video.
Scope of Work
The consultant will assist Hivos team to produce a short video about advocacy strategy with graphic and animation.

- A short video about advocacy strategy with graphic and animation
Timeline
- Creation and editing process: 10 August – 11 September 2020, include revision if necessary.
Knowledge, experiences and competencies
We are seeking an individual or a team with the following qualities:
- Has at least 3 year experience as videographer and graphic editor
- Has proficiency in software associated with video editing
- Able to design and create motion graphic
- Creative and able to propose new idea and design concept
- Able to work with minimum supervision
