Sustainability Report 2025 – Collective Power In Action: Strengthening Movements for Just and Inclusive Societies in Southeast Asia

Humanis Foundation

This is the fourth Sustainability Report published by  Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial (hereafter referred to as Humanis), covering our operations in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste. This report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards and covers the reporting period from 1 January to 31 December 2025, unless otherwise stated. There have been no restatements of information from previous reporting periods.

The report presents Humanis’ organizational performance, key achievements, commitments,  initiatives, and impacts. As interest in sustainability continues to grow, we aim to ensure that our reporting remains accessible and relevant to a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, partners, civil society organizations, governments, rightsholders, and the general public. Certain GRI disclosures are not applicable to Humanis’ operations, as we are a nonprofit foundation and do not engage in commercial activities such as the design, production, or sale of products and services.

Our mandate focuses on implementing programs and initiatives in areas including climate justice, gender equality, and civic rights. Accordingly, disclosures related to product responsibility, marketing, customer health and safety, and product-related energy use are not reported. This clarification is provided to ensure transparency and to indicate that these disclosures are outside the scope of Humanis’ mission and operations.

The financial data presented in this report is consolidated across Humanis’ operations and has been audited by BDO Indonesia (Kantor Akuntan Publik Tanubrata Sutanto Fahmi Bambang & Rekan), in accordance with the auditing standards set by the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The audit covers the fiscal year from 1 January to 31 December 2025.

Humanis upholds transparency and accountability as core organizational values, reflected in the quality and integrity of the data and information presented in this report. The report was developed under the supervision of the Executive Director, in coordination with the Management Team, DMEL Coordination, and Communications Team. It presents Humanis’ performance in managing key sustainability issues and is reviewed and approved annually by the Board of  Trustees and Board of Supervisors.

This Sustainability Report has been externally assured by Décar Vérité Asia in accordance with the AA1000 Assurance Standard (AA1000AS v3, Type 2). The assurance process assessed adherence to AA1000 principles and verified the reliability of disclosed performance data, covering all material topics and key indicators in line with GRI Standards requirements.
